Only what we need to pay you.

Privacy policy. Last updated September 24, 2026. This explains what Algorithm Arbitrage collects about creators, why, who sees it, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

Account details: your email, phone number, name and country, to log you in, reach you, and pay you. Posting accounts: the handles you add, whether they're verified, and a temporary bio-code during verification. Campaign activity: which campaigns you join, the links you submit, and view counts on those posts. Money: your earnings ledger, payout requests and the payout destination (a PayPal email or account-holder name). Your videos, read by ALGO: with Craft on (the default), the posted video, a transcript of what's said, and the grade, notes and frames ALGO produces from it. Anything you upload: analytics screenshots or video files you add to the Tape. Chats with ALGO: what you ask ALGO on the site or in the Discord, and short notes ALGO keeps about you (your niche, goals, platforms) so it can coach you better. Technical: standard server logs and a login session cookie.

Why we collect it

To run campaigns and pay you correctly, to grade your videos and coach you, to verify you own the accounts you post from (so nobody can claim your handle), to prevent fraud and view inflation, and to keep the service working. That's it. We don't build advertising profiles.

SMS

If you tick the text-message box at signup we record that consent and when you gave it. We only text about campaign drops and payouts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We don't text you without that consent.

Who sees it

Other creators see you on the season Leaderboard: your first name and last initial, profile photo, country, rank, score and season stats (videos, views, best grade). Never your email, phone, handles or earnings. Brands running a campaign you joined see your handle, your posts for that campaign, and their view counts, never your email, phone or payout details. Service providers that help us operate: Supabase (database and login), SideShift (post view tracking), Resend (email), Apify (reading public profile bios during verification), Vercel (hosting), and PayPal / our bank partner (payouts). AI services that read your videos and power ALGO: Anthropic's Claude (still frames from your video, to grade what's on screen) and Google's Gemini (the video with its sound, to hear what's said, and ALGO's chat). We only use their paid business services, which don't use what we send to train their models. If Gemini is down, ALGO's chat falls back to Groq for that one reply. You can turn video analysis off in the account menu (Video analysis) at any time. Each only gets the data needed for its job. Law: we'll disclose data if legally required, and we'll tell you unless we're not allowed to.

What we never do

We never sell your personal data. We never use your face, voice, name or videos to train or fine-tune any AI model, never make a digital copy of you, and we don't let brands or vendors do it through us. We don't share your contact or payout details with brands.

Public profile data

To verify an account we read the public bio of the handle you gave us, looking only for the code we issued. We log the attempt (platform, handle, outcome, how long it took) so we can see when a platform is blocking us. We don't store the rest of your profile.

Keeping and deleting

We keep account and ledger data while your account is open, and payout records for as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Delete your account from the Discord or by emailing us and we'll remove everything except those required financial records. Verification bio-codes expire after 24 hours and are cleared once you're verified.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. If you're in the EU/UK you have the additional rights those laws give you. Ask in the Discord and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Cookies

One cookie: your login session. No tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may remember a preference like a draft or a tab locally; that never leaves your device.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and tell you in the Discord and by email before it takes effect. Read the Creator Terms.
